Staten Island, NY.- John T. Sallust, 64, Of Annadale, a retired Transit Police Officer and federal court marchal, died Saturday in Staten Island University Hospital, Ocean Breeze, of Cancer.
Born in Brooklyn, he moved to Staten Island during the 1970s and setteled in Annadale.
Mr. Sallust was a New York City Transit Policeman until 1985. He then became a marchel for the US federal courts until retiring in 2006.
He served in the US Army and was station in Korea.
Mr. Sallust's favorite leisure prsuite was spending time with friends.
Surviving are his wife of 26 years, the former America Espinal; his son Alex Espinal; a daughter Dawn Siclari; his mother Iona ;his sister Louise and brother, Gilbert.
The funeral arrangements are being handle by the John Vincent Scalia Home for funerals, Eltingville. Burial will be tomorrow in Pine Grove Cemetery, South Sterling, PA.
